Painting mold resistant drywall troubles

I just finished renovating our basement bathroom and used mold resistant blue drywall. I primed it will regular Behr primer from Home Depot and started to paint the ceiling with a white semi-gloss paint from Benjamin Moore - their Aurora brand. It seems to go on fine and I make sure the coverage is perfectly even, but then when it starts to dry, blotches appear in random areas and it looks like the paint is being repelled or something.

Anyone know what is causing this? Should I have used a specific primer for this type of drywall? I have gone over it now 4 times and the blotches still appear.

I've not used the aura paint or pinting any of the new mold resistant drywall [that I'm aware of] It's my understanding that aura requires no primer. Could you better explain [maybe a pic] the splotches? How big is the ceiling?

If we can't figure it out - go back to BM and talk to them - they should know all about their coatings.
