Sound plan of attack?

I have removed wallpaper and there are glue stops everywhere. Having spent the pat few days scrubbing and sanding, I've been thinking of another way to get done with painting.
1. Use Zinsser's Gardz to seal it.
2. Then apply joint compound on all the walls.
3. paint, and be done.

Is this a good idea? Also, would i need to prime again after applying joint compound?

Welcome to the forums!

That should work but the j/c will need to be sanded, dust removed and primed before it's ready for paint.
