Question

I painted our back door with exterior paint, but did not put masking tape around the window. and would not have been able to paint the edges of the window if i had. Now I have heard the only way to remove the dark green paint is to use a razor blade and scrape away. any more ideas?

A well run out rag with lacquer thinner as the solvent is one way.

Why not use the razor blade? It's quick and easy. If you use lacquer thinner as a solvent, what happens when you drip some of that solvent on the good paint? Save yourself a headache...use a razor blade.

I tried the razor blade afterall and it worked better than I had expected. The door looks great. Thanks!
