I am in the process of repainting a main bathroom in my house. Unfortunately the people that lived here before me painted it Barney Purple (not kidding)! I need to know what I should use to make sure there isn't a bleed through. Also I would like some advice on color schemes for small bathrooms to make them look slightly bigger if not brighter?

Use Benjamin Moore FRESH START primer to block out that shade of purple. Use an off white to brighten and make it look larger. Use white on the ceiling.
