Question

Hi - can anyone out there tell me how best to paint some purple kitchen cabinets I have (formica type surface) ? I really need to understand what's involved, rather than have specific product recommendations (most US products I've seen discussed are not available in Europe). Is 2-pack paint essential ? I can't move the cabinets out of the house, and have small children I don't really want to expose to 2-pack. Thanks for any advise - via forum or e-mail me off-line.

What's 2-pack ?
2 part Epoxy ?
I would think about just roughing them up with some 100 grit sand paper and Painting them with a good Oil semi-gloss.

Oil base fumes are not healthy for small children to be near. Oil base paint will yellow. Rough up surface with #120 sand paper and use a semi-gloss latex if possible.
