Unhappy

We goofed. Bought the wrong paint and wrong color.
Now what. Contacted the store - won't take it back, wrote to Walmart - will see what happens.
But - can we mix flat with satin ? I have 10 gallons of Premium satin - but it's too shiny for my taste. If I add flat to it - will it mix OK ? I might add some white flat to it to lighten it up a little.
What do you think ?

You problem remind me of when there was no egg or satin.I used to mix semi-gloss with flat in various proportions to knock down the gloss.Always worked well for me.I think you should do a small test sample and let dry to make sure we don't ruin your whole batch of paint.

Thumbs up

I mixed the "neutral groung" satin with "soft white" flat and it came out nice.
Did the bathroom last night and it looks good. I might do the whole house with this combo. I tried the Wagner paintig stick - works good too.
