I would ask someone where it was bought or call the manufacturer.

go to a paint store and get either separating oil from Spraytech or Throat Seal from Graco. either will work. NOT motor oil. (Altough if you repack it, you will use light weight oil)

I've always used throat seal.

BC - I have 2 titan 660s that have been repacked numerous times and I used to work for an outfit that had several graco 433, 533 and 733s that had the packings replaced periodically and throat seal was always used. Never heard of using light weight oil

the manual should tell you what to use. throat seal oil if it's a piston pump and synthetic motor oil if it a diaphragm pump.

we found the light weight oil works very well when soaking the leather packings. as long as it is a paint pump your ok. on the lacquer pumps we use throat seal. the leather is not as pliable. we always flush with solvent and water and end up removing the excess oil.

I think I misunderstood
I thought you were using light weight oil in place of throat seal while the paint was being sprayed. I've used both as a lubricant during the rebuild process but only throat seal when pumping [spraying] paint.
