I bought some latex wall and trim paint for my bedroom, got it home and then noticed the word enamel at the end. Is this okay to use on the walls?

Yes you can use it on your walls(assuming your walls are painted with latex, and most are).

I have noticed a few people posting about painting there trim with latex and it peeling, that is mainly because most trim is painted with an oil based paint, so before you use this paint on the trim, I would test paint a small area on the trim and come back a couple days later and see if it scratches off easily with your fingernail, if it does you will need to use an oil based paint for your trim, or sand lightly, reprime and use latex.
