Question

Hi, I need to find a better product to strip my deck's finish, prior to refinishing. I have tried using Behr Quik Fix 15 minute finish stripper, but am not very impressed with it. It takes several applications on the same area to keep it wet for the 15 minutes it prescribes, while it lifts the old finish. As a result, I've used almost the entire can to partially strip half of my 12 x 12 foot deck and some of the railings. None of the stairs have been done yet.

It hasn't even removed all of the old finish either. If it had, it would be doable, but it was such a lot of work just to do the bit I've done, for pretty poor results. Can anyone recommend a more powerful product or method?

Thanks

If you tru;y want to remove it in one application you can buy the PEEL AWAY 5 product and it will do the job for you.
