Can I paint low-sheen latex paint over semi-gloss latex paint and is low-sheen paint washable?

daphnes55, Any latex paint can go over latex paint. If the low sheen you refer to is flat it will not be very washable. If you are considering eggshell IMHO it washes as well as any paint...Mike

Painting Melamine Furniture

I have some 1970 bedroom furniture that I want to paint. The "readymade" melamine furniture colours are limited. Is there a way to primer the furniture and then us a wood/metal paint over it? any ideas please

I have a pre-primed, red cedar siding on my house. A friend of mine told me that California 2010 was the best exterior paint I could use. Where could I find a distributor of this product near me and what is your suggestion on exterior hosue paint?
