When powerwashing the exterior of my house...a lot of paint is coming off. Should I wash off as much as comes off?

I would power wash all the paint that will come off fairly easy, being carefull not to damage the siding. Then let it dry and go back and do some touch up scraping.

Be careful with the power washer, I have seen people take ALL the paint off, and the side of the house looked like the end of a broken 2x4. (wood siding)

Be sure to spot prime any exposed wood with a quality exterior primer and get your exterior paint from a pro paint store. Don't forget the paintable latex caulk, use a wet finger to smooth and a wet rag to clean up any mess.
