If you really want to make them look like copper you can purchase liquid copper from
A&C Distributors, 800-995-9946. They also have liquid patinas; you'd need the green one. You might want to buy their sample sizes first to experiment with. Copper is about $50 per gallon. Patina will not work on copper paint but you could paint them with copper paint and use liquid copper just in places where you want to add the patina, which must be added while liquid copper is wet.If the gutters are galvanized you'd need to prepare them before painting; our galvanizer told us to wash galvanized pieces with vinegar before painting. A less expensive method would be try to find a paint in a pale turquoise color and dry brush some black onto it in places. Good
luck!
