Want to paint cedar fence. Fence is four years old and has been coated with clear watersealer three times during the last fours years. What type of paint or color stain should I be using.

I currently have stained (satin finish) woodwork and wish to paint but NOT sand. Is there a product I can paint on or something I can wash the woodwork with?
