A friend sponge painted hers. She had that Z-brick junk on one wall of an old farmhouse she lives in. She had the mantle rebricked and then sponged the Z-brick to match. Can't even tell the difference between the real brick and the fake Z-brick. Find a brick you like at a brickyard, and then copy it. Also very inexpensive!
