Painting Wooden Stairs in the Garden
hi
this is my first post and i hope i its in the correct section.
Basically, I have moved into a new house and in the garden there is a wooden stairs. Wooden stairs has not been painted so its looking quite bad to me
I have attached a picture of the stairs.

What can I do to make the stairs look better and to preserve it for the future.
any suggestions would be appreciated. I dont know much about DIYing

Well by the looks of them, they are pressure treated wood, and certainly over a year old, so....you can do about anything you want, just make sure they are clean and dry, after all the rainy weather we've been having......

Clean them if they need it and then apply a coat or 2 of a good deck stain. You'll find the better coatings at your local paint store [advice too] than you will at a big box.
