Foam Exterior

Just bought a 24 year old home that has foam exterior , paint is coming off in a few areas .
What do I do to fix this ?
Can't scrape the surface .

Help

Welcome to the forums!

I don't think I've ever seen a painted styrofoam exterior. Normally the foam is covered with stucco or drivet which can be painted. Since you can't scrape, sand or pressure wash - maybe rubbing the affected areas with a coarse rag might help. Once the peeling areas are taken care of, check the rest of the paint for chalk. If chalky, add flood's emulsa bond to the 1st coat of latex paint/primer.
