best brushing acrylic semi-gloss, opinions

Thirty-five years ago I used to paint for a living, now I just do it for myself and as a volunteer, so I'm out of touch. I like to paint doors and trim with oil-based enamel when I can, but that's not always possible, so the question is:

Which latex semi-gloss brushes out the best?

I hate that snotty feel some of them have, and many of them don't 'settle out' well, leaving too many brush marks. (I'm finicky, and nothing is as off-putting as a badly painted door.) Thanks.

I'm partial to SWP's proclassic waterborne enamel. It levels real well and dries almost as hard as oil base enamel. It is pricey and doesn't respond well to over brushing but it's the best enamel I think I've ever used. Their promar 200 enamel also does a decent job although it won't dry to as hard a film. Basically any of the better grades of latex enamel should do a decent job. Sometimes a touch of water or even an additive like flotrol can help latex enamel to brush and level better.
