Exterior Painting of homes

I was trying to research which colors were more appealing to prospective home buyers than others.

I got varied advice on sites saying that it depends on whether you live in the city, the country. what style of home it is....colonial or ranch?

What location does it face? North, south, east, west.

Then, there were the color wheel for tones and tints.

So, there wasn't a really clear answer to this one....if you have trimming on your home, what's the best color to use to accentuate the color of the home??

I know this is an open-ended question with various answers, but would there be a website that would help narrow it down?

I'd love to start repainting the exterior on my home and trimming, but have no clue as to what colors would be the best.

You wouldn't ask a tough question, would you?

While there are a lot of good color choices to choose from, not all are right for every home. The style of the house does play a part but even more important are the colors in the house that can't be readily changed; roof, brick an sometimes even the landscaping. Some styles/types of houses lend theirself more to ceratin colors than others. Most paint stores will have brochures with colors grouped together to help folks decide. There is no one color combo that is the only correct choice for any home.

Give us some more info about your home or better yet, supply a pic or two.

Thank you Yeah, it is a tough question because there are so many variables to factor in.

I'll take some pictures and will post them soon.
