Painting a bathtub and tile?
We recently bought a house and the bathtub does not match the tile. The tub is almond color and the tiles are white. I was recently at the home improvement store and saw there is a product you can use to paint the tub. It comes in a few different colors. Has anyone used these products? How did it turn out? Was it a difficult process?

IMO this is better left to the pro tub refinishers. Tub and tile painting has a high rate of failures - mainly peeling The majority of the failures are linked to improper prep, mainly not getting the tub clean enough. Obviously a sprayed on finish will look better than brushed on.
I don't know much about it but I'd check into the tub liners. Basically it's a thin tub shell that installs over top of the existing tub.

Before you do anything to the tub clean, clean, clean, then sand, sand, sand some more. And when you think you are done, do it all again. Then the coating may not fall off.
