Question What color do I paint the closet doors?

I have a two tone 10x10 room divided by chair rail and 48" high beadboard. The top of the wall and ceiling are a light cream and the bottom is a light brown. I plan to paint the crown, chair, and baseboard semigloss white. My question is, what color do I paint the closet doors? Do I paint them the color of the top and ceiling, the color of beadboard, or white semigloss like the trim? Thanks

Use light brown color for closet doors. It provides a pleasant combination and gives wonderful look.

Usually the doors get painted with the same paint as the woodwork. In your case that would be the white......... but there are no hard fast rules! If you paint them a color that you decide later doesn't work for you - it's not that big of a deal to change it. IMO adding a 4th color would be too busy so it would be best to use one of the colors already there.

Whatever color you use, make sure it's an enamel. Enamel is easier to keep clean than flat wall paint, it will wear better too

Well, if I were to paint the closet doors light brown (the same color as the beadboard) than would I also paint the room door the same color or would it be different (semigloss white like the trim).

This guy is absolutely right. usually you would want to paint the trim of the closet door the same as the wood trim and molding. Just make sure you have fun with the paint job, don't stress to much its only permanent until you paint over it.
