Concrete stains tend to last longer, a couple years for concrete paint is about all you can expect

What type and brand masonry paint did you use?
Concrete stain works best on bare concrete or over concrete stain. You can get by with applying it over some paint providing the majority of the old paint has been removed. Generally a porch and deck enamel will wear better than a masonry paint.

I think it was benjamin moore porch and deck paint. it has worn off in the busy section of the porch and kinda peeled off in other areas.
I guess i'm just going to have to scrape off what i can and repaint.
should I primer first and then paint?
