What paint to use for bathroom?

Is flat latex acceptable for the ceiling? What about the walls?

There is a window as well as an exhaust fan for this bathroom.

Thanks for the advice

I've always had good results using Zinsser's PermaWhite Bathroom Paint available at Home Depot.

Sherwin Williams also makes a paint specifically for bathrooms called simply "Bath Paint".

I expect either paint would provide good service in a bathroom.

PermaWhite is possibly the best bath rm paint available but it can only take a small amount of tint. There are many other brands of bath paint that have bases that can be tinted darker [if desired] Bare minimum would be using a latex enamel. While bath paints are also latex enamel they have extra mildewcide and are formulated for the harsher environment of a bath rm with shower.

I wouldn't put flat paint on a bathroom ceiling - I put the same satin finish paint on the walls and ceilings in the one of mine I've painted

The only time I've ever seen flat was in a fancy powder room with no shower. I've always used semi-gloss in full bathrooms cause I like the reflectivity for the lighting and the moisture resistance.

Golly, I missed the reference to the flat paint on the ceiling
You definitely want a latex enamel on the ceiling, especially with a shower.
