Covering Black Hair Dye Stains on Semi Gloss Wall
Without paying $50/gallon, does anyone know of a great great coverage paint. Have to paint over black hair dye
on a previously semi gloss painted wall. I've heard names like Behr and some others, but thought I'd ask here. Acrylic is my easiest paint to use.
Thanks so much

I'm not familiar with hair dye stains but a pigmented shellac like Zinnser's BIN is the ultimate stain hiding primer. 2nd best would be an oil base primer. As a rule, latex primers/paints do a poor job of sealing stains. You only need to prime the areas that have the stain. Once the primer has dried you can use your choice of latex paint over the primer.

BIN is what I'd use and then I'd cover it with a paint purchased from a paint store, not a paint department.
