Linoleum Lacquer? (floor tiles)

I have linoleum tiles in my bedroom that I would like to paint, but I know normal paint really isn't a good idea because of the constant peeling and wearing.

I found this site: Painting Vinyl Floors and Painting Linoleum Floors

Supposedly it's designed to paint linoleum and vinyl tiles but I haven't been able to find a review on this stuff anywhere. Has anyone ever heard of it and/or used it?

I'd be leery of any coating [other than wax] that is applied to vinyl or linoleum flooring. I had never heard of that product but I don't buy their hype. Another thing that puzzles me is where they say their lacquer coating cleans up with mineral spirits - every lacquer coating I've ever used needed lacquer thinner for clean up.

Personally I'd save my money towards replacing the floor covering but if you want to try it - let us know in about 6 months how it's held up.

Thumbs up Linoleum Lacquer does work!

I was just searching for it again and came across this post. I've used it in my master bathroom and am going to do my guest bath next. It does work and it does clean up with mineral spirits. I asked them the same question because I thought it was technically a "lacquer" but lacquer is used loosely as the brand name meaning glossy coating, not the other scientific definition of lacquer. In any case, I'd recommended it. They do have a money back guarantee so there's no risk really if it doesn't work as claimed but it does so no worries there.
