Unhappy

Help, we are new to this.... We used primer then topcoat
on our interior walls and ceilings. The smell is so very
strong and no way to isolate with doors. Is there a way to absorb the odor with baking soda or another substance?
Thanks for your time.

Did use an oil base paint? If so, it will take a while for the odor to go away. In the mean time there are products on the market that have odor eaters in them. You spray them like air fresheners. Melian (I am not sure of the spelling) is the main ingredient. Amway had such a product. I don't know if they still carry it. Try the yellow pages for a dealer near you.
