Painted bathroom floor

going for an Edwardian look bathroom. will have a free standing roll-top bath. want to create an exposed timber floor effect. getting hardwood tunnel groove flooring. going to paint this flooring all round before installing. will marine paint be the right thing to use if so, what brand?

Welcome to the forums.

No idea what an 'Edwardian' look is but does the floor have to be painted? Stain and polyurethane hold up much better on wood floors than paint.

I agree and while wood is better than carpet in a bath rm - tile or vinyl is still preferred!
