Forgot to prime oak door
Hello, first time poster. This forum is just what I have been looking for.
I have a new interior oak bathroom door. I sanded and painted with interior semi gloss laytex. I forgot to prime. What should I do in order to acheive a nice finish?
thanks, Rch

Why would you paint an oak door?

I'd sand the door until it's smooth and then evaluate it. If a lot of the paint is gone, use an enamel undercoater to prime it. If the door still has a painted look, apply another coat of your latex enamel.
