Painting around shower

Hey all new guy here and i have a question already.
I have a stand alone shower stall and the paint is all flaked off around the top, about 2 inches wide from the top of the shower up the wall.Is there a special paint i can use to stop it from flaking like this.A paint and some kind of sealer?I would do like a 4 inch band around the top.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums!

You'll need to scrape and sand the loose stuff, smooth it out with some joint compound, prime and then apply a coat or two of bath rm paint. Bath paint is formulated for the harsher environment that the shower gives. Running [or installing] an exhaust fan will also help.
