I've heard of that brand of paint and may have used some but don't remember much about it. I don't have a lot of confidence in CR's paint ratings because they have in the past claimed that certain paints were the best while real world experience showed those coatings to be problematic. IMO the only way to grade a coating is to apply it on multiple jobs and then go back a year later and run it thru their tests including the thoughts of whoever applied the paint.

I agree but a lot of people seem to read CR and believe every word, which is why we've had some of the questions on this forum after people couldn't get good results with the # 1 paint in their magazine. I wonder if that will start happening with this one now or if it's any good?

I think the main thing that throws the CR tests off from real world is that no one paints in laboratory conditions of temperature and humidity, precisely following manufacturer instructions, on perfectly prepared substrates. That said...I've never had a problem with Behr, but then I don't do much painting and have no experience with better/more expensive/paint store brands.

Off topic....but when did we change from saying "la-BOR-a-tory" to "LAB-ra-tory"???
