Help!!
I just purchased a beautiful house which has a large stone fireplace in the cellar that one of the previous owners had painted white. I do not know if the paint is latex or oil-base nor do I know how long it has been there. The house is approx 50 yrs old. How can I strip the paint off the stone to return it to it's natural condition?

General steps: paint stripper, paste poultices to remove traces of pigments and stains, final cleaning.

I suggest you use the PEEL AWAY 7 product which will remove the paint for you. It does not matter whetyher it is oil or latex you will get down to the bare stone
