help with painting please
Hi
I have a covered sideway with doors at each end, one side wall was I think was made of plywood sheets and at one time has been painted I think with either undercoat or more likely emulsion, I have sanded it down to create a bond to repaint I have bought bathroom and kitchen pain it’s a water based vinyl emulsion that you can wash when its dried and gets dirty, what I need to know is should I put one coat of ordinary emulsion on the walls first as a first coat to block it out a bit before putting the other coat of vinyl emulsion on, would that be ok
