painting over wallpaper
#1
I live in a 2500sq.ft mobile home with an open floor plan.My problem is that most of the walls in my home are white wallpaper with a little texture. With the catherderal celing, all of my rooms just kind of run together.I would like to paint the wallpaper but I dont know how to start the process.I know it will have to be primed but I dont know with what.Any advice would help. Thanks!

Copied this for you from the moderators comments. I also have more info about glazing on wall paper if you want that.

I usually recomend removal of wall paper prior to painting but you can paint
wallpaper, just be sure to prime with an oil based primer like Kilz to seal it so that
the moisture from the wall paint you use won't soak through and loosen the
wallpaper paste.
Hope this helps.
