Interior latex stains

Can anyone recommend a good quality, interior latex stain? It will be used to stain a newly built pine bed frame and headboard.

Are they safe to use indoors, with the windows closed?

Thanks.

Latex stains should have a lot less VOCs compared to their oil base counterpart. I've only used interior latex stains occasionally - I'm not fond of them! They dry quicker which makes them more challenging to apply evenly. Personally, I'd consider moving the pieces somewhere the odor of an oil base stain won't pose a problem.

Thanks. Moving it is not an option, and it's too damn cold to do it in the garage. Otherwise I would have stained it before assembling it.

Has anyone used the Minwax "Express Color" or "Woodsheen" stains?

Both are water based, wipe on stains.
