Would like help with Exterior colors

Just bought a house and looking to change the exterior to make it look nicer. It has tan vinyl siding and currently has hunter green shutters and doors. The roof is lighter color.

I think spring/summer will help a lot
Other than painting the porch posts white, I think it looks nice as is.

welcome to the forums!

I agree with MarkSr. I think the house looks nice. I like the contrast of the darker shutters & door with the medium toned siding and roof and white trim. If you want to go crazy you could try painting the boor a brick red but I would make sure it's not a bright red. Other than that I think keeping lawn and landscaping in order would help alot.

Your house looks nice the way it is now. Although colors are a very individual thing. Does it need painting? If not, why spend the money needed just to change the look? You may get years of life on the paint job yet! Just a thought.

Well...thats 4 for it looks pretty good now. I agree the posts should be white...not green. I also agree that landscaping would do much more to improve the appearance. Many places look plain in winter...but with some plantings...spring and summer bring them to life.
