Hairline settling cracks in block mortar line

I have a block and stucco house in Florida that needs to be repainted. In examining the walls for preliminary prep work, I noticed that there are several hairline settling cracks along the block mortar line. I would like to know if there is a flexible product I can use to fill these cracks before I paint that will not dry out and re-crack in time. Any and all suggestions welcome.....thanks, Buz

When it's not a big enough crack to warrant being patched with mortar I normally just use acrylic latex caulk. If you just fill the crack it shouldn't affect how the stucco looks.

Spray Paint on a Chest of Drawers turning out blotchy

I spray painted my chest of drawers with Rustoleum 2x Paint and Primer. On the top and sides it is turning out very blotchy. I have followed all the instructions and it still isn't coming out right. Should I top coat it? Will that make it more even or should I continue to spray it until the coverage is even? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :help::wall:

We just got a nice cabinet which has chippy paint on it. It's really a neat piece but we did a lead test and it was positive. We've got kids and pets in the house so I wanted to ask advice. I'm fairly certain that the whole "lead paint" thing has been blown completely out of proportion by the media and news outlets, and over-crazy parents. That said - maybe I'm wrong. However, I'd like to use this piece in the house but I'm not sure how bad the lead paint situation is. Do I need to strip this piece? Or can I just run some steel wool over it to get the loose paint off and then brush shellac or something over top? Don't worry about my feelings - if I'm not taking this as seriously as I should be - TELL ME! Thanks in advance for any advice I get.
