Dulux endurance+ Some advice
I cleaned a part of my wall this morning with baby wipes to clean a bit of dirt. I then dabbed it dry with a towel very carefully. However I can now see a sheen of where the cleaned areas have been cleaned when looking at it from an angle. in certain lights. Could this just be remnant liquid that needs to dry properly. If not is there anyway of fixing it? Kind of pointless having cleanable paint if cleaning just marks the walls anyway. I've attached a pic, am actually quite surprised i was able to take a picture of it.
If baby wipes are to harsh for cleaning them which i doubt what would be better just water I suppose?

I use baby wipes all the time. I remove spots on my bathroom wall & it never left marks. The chemical in baby wipes evaporates very quickly. What finish is the paint? Some of the choices are: flat, washable flat aka matte, egg shell, semi gloss or glass. Benjamin Moore has something called Pearl, which I hate but that's another story.

Assuming that the baby wipe isn't the issue, how old is the paint job? Deep colors can be problematic when they get wet - especially if the paint was applied recently. It's called surfactant leaching.

its dulux endurance+ natural hessian. Paint job was just over a month ago so over the 4 week period where your not really supposed to clean them. Its basically matt but is described as being washable etc. Apparently its the retail version of the trade diamond formulation.
I'm not sure what to do generally when tryin to fix **** like this i only make things worse. Im going to try sugar soap on one small spot to see if it gets rid of the sheen. If not ill repaint it. Id rather have a matt square with a slight outline than splodges of sheen on the wall.
First time baby wipes have failed for me i use the bloody things for all sorts.
@pulpo I used them because they evaporate quickly thats exactly why i thought it would be fine but apparently not.
