Question

I have accoustic ceiling for my entire house. I was told that the material used to create texture of the accoustic celing crumbles and falls off if I tried to paint the ceiling with a brush. Is this true? Should I spray paint the ceiling then? If so, can anyone suggest good, easy to use, and not too expensive spray painting equipment that a beginner can handle?

Thanks
Jyothi

You should be able to rent a sprayer, If you have never used a sprayer, you should practice on the back of your garage, get the feel for the sprayer, just make sure you keep the spray even, take your time, then go ahead and drop out the floors with good canvas drops, mask off the windows, doors, and anything you don't want paint on get yourself a sprayers cap and resperator, and have at it, once you have all your ceilings done now you can roll the walls out, Good luck
