Decorating a bedroom paint won't take.

Hi folks, I've scraped off old paper and paste, went over with scouring pad and wiped off with stardops solution.. Sanded bits that needed doing and applied Crown Brillant White the next day, it won't take in parts - the house is cold with no heating on at all..The bits that haven't taken I've scraped cleaned with turps - sanded and wiped then applied paint.. Still won't take! Thoughts please #stumped

Welcome to the forums.

Not familiar with all of the products you've used but have you ensured you got all of them off the wall?

What kind of paint is on the wall now?

A better description of what the paint is doing would help ... or a pic if it would show up - http://www.doityourself.com/forum/el...your-post.html

How cold is the house, including the wall temp?

Unless you are positive that ALL the wallpaper paste was removed it's best to coat the walls with either an oil base primer or Zinnser's Gardz.
