Question

I want to change the color of my wood front door exterior from red to green. Should I remove red first or just paint green over it?

I would recommend first sanding the door to remove any loose paint and roughen the finish a bit. Then prime the door, preferably oil based, then put on the new green paint. That way you will know that the red will not bleed through, and the new paint will adhere better to the primer.
