Need advice on cleaning the oil off the surfaces of the wooden cabinets above my

Looking for advice on cleaning the wooden cabinets above my stove. They have an oilly substance from cooking. how can I go about it and what do I use? Thank you in advance

I use a solution of Simple Green or Purple Power. Depending on the thickness of the grease it may take several rounds of cleaner and wiping/scrubbing the cabinet.

If they are cleaned regularly it isn't a big deal to clean them. Mineral spirits can also be used although that's normally prior to a repaint/repoly.

TSP Liquid Substitute is an excellent cleaner for wood cabs, as is Simple Green.
