Wood Floor Edge Caulk
We have misc. gaps along the qtr round of our old wood floor--let's bugs it seems, like box beetles into the house on the 2nd floor.
What kind of material or caulk could I fill this gap with? I want or prefer something, perhaps clear, that won't stay sticky and attract dust. The gaps are is maybe 1/8 inch or less. Thanks much!

Any unpainted caulk will attract dirt over tiime, that's why we don't normally caulk the shoe/base to the floor. Is your quarter round painted or stained? Clear latex caulk would come the closest to what you want. It goes on milky but dries clear.
