Staining white oak baseboard

Approx how much stain would I need to stain 100sq ft (200 linear feet of 6" high) white oak baseboard???
just need a ballpark as its a custom colour

1 quart would generally be enough unless you are very wasteful.

A gallon of oil base stain generally covers 500-600 sq ft. ... which means a quart should be plenty. I don't know much about water based stains but suspect they don't go quite as far.
