Painted shutters: still a bit tacky

Painted shutters: still a bit tacky

Ipainted my shutters all10 of them and they still after a week feel semi wet.Paint doesn't stick to fingers?Any ideas on this? I also painted my picnic table.I can sit down on it and set awhile............ no paint sticks to me.This crown paint.ACE Always had good luck with it. Any tips It has been very humid this summer in lower Mich thank you bob s My wife says It will dry Robert!!your opinion. she never paints anything

I'm not very familiar with that brand of paint but some paints have a softer finish than others. As long as the paint doesn't stick to your fingers [or leave a fingerprint behind] I wouldn't be too concerned. Latex paints can take up to a month to reach full hardness.

No information about the paint. We assume it's latex. Was it interior/exterior?

Its a latex is all i know seeems to be getting ...some harder bob s
