cabinet paint repairs--strip or sand?
I have recently painted some cabinet doors that ended up showing some round spots from drips that happened when I was trying to cover some of the wood (where I had sanded through the original primer) with a spray primer..the nozzle dripped. I thought I had sanded the drips down fine but you can still see the spots through the paint. I should not have kept going after the first coat of paint but I did..sigh. The paint is Benjamin Moore Advance satin and there are two coats on it plus Kilz odor free oil based primer. My question is, am I better off just stripping the whole door and starting over or could I just sand the front of the door down and start from there? I suspect it is the former but thought I would ask for a reality check. At least it's only a couple of doors and not all of them. TIA
