Varnish for paint gun.

i am looking for a good varnish to spray on a antique Mahogany secretary after I stain it.

Wagner spray control itís a great littler sprayer for what I need.

That unit should spray both oil base and water based poly or varnish. Oil base dries to a harder finish and is generally more durable

If you're going to spray, I would be leaning toward lacquer over varnish.

I use Sherwin Williams Sherwood HiBild precat lacquer, medium rub. (Somewhat between semigloss and matte)
