Trying to reuse dried stain for touch-up

I have a can of Benjamin Moore Solid White siding stain. Unfortunately, I is really dry.
Is there a way to thin it to use for a touch-up project? They don't make this stain product anymore...

Probably not and touching up is often not successful in the first place on a surface that has aged. I'd go back to the BM store and see what they have as a replacement.

Is it an oil base or latex stain? Adding thinner might make it usable but it isn't apt to adhere or wear as well as it did before. How old is the stain job? How much needs to be touched up? As SS said, an old stain job doesn't usually touch up well.

It is an Acrylic stain.
Label: Acrylic solid siding stain N089 01. I believe it is this:

I only need a small portion for a couple spots for 2x4 sides.

I went to the store and they told me they can not match. Only bringing them an actual painted sample.

How much water would you need to use to make it usable? Since you just need to paint a small area I'd be tempted to try and use what you have although I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't hold up as well as the rest.
