My ceiling is full of roller marks: need help

I recently repaint my ceiling with BEHR interior Ceiling Flat purchase at Home Depot. After painting i saw alot of roller mark on the ceiling in my living room once the light hit the ceiling. Can anyone please help me. How do i fix this issue. Looks very ugly now.

You were probably not loading the roller with enough paint. It will need a 2nd coat and don't skimp on the paint this time. Figure 1 gallon for every 350 square feet and you should have enough.

If you had cigarette stains on the ceiling it should have been primed with kilz first.

You are the latest user of Behr crappy paint, do a little googling on this site for similar horror stories.

And they claim to be high on customer satisfaction,!

Simply put it's cheap paint, it cant be fixed other than getting some good ceiing paint.

I highly recommend Pratt & Lambert Skylight ceiling paint! You can try to mess it up but it refuses to fail and will come out perfect!!

Did anyone know anything about Dead Flat paint? I google it and stating no roller mark, is that true? Any suggestion on the brand and experience on those? Thanks

P&L paints are normally sold at hardware stores.

I agree the biggest culprit is the rolling technique. You want to use a 1/2" nap cover, 3/8" isn't heavy enough to hold/disperse the paint well. As noted above you want to apply plenty of paint. I like to heavily load the roller, kind of slop it on to start and then when 1/2 or more of the paint is applied take the now drier roller and lightly roll over and dress up the paint.
