Question

New Question - I have a bedroom with plaster walls - the walls have the sizing from wallpaper I just took down, however this sizing was put directly over glue from a previous layer of wallpaper. It's been suggested that I just put a few coats off ?????? over the walls, then primer, then paint. The other option was to try and get all of this off the walls with the traditional methods, but that i would never get a really smooth finish because i'll never get the original glue off. If someone could recommend what I could use to cover the walls to create a surface I can prime and paint. thanks!!

If both of the layers of"glue" do not constitute regular waterbased paste and your convinced that you cannot remove it then the next opton is to line the walls with a medium grade lining paper after you have rubbed the walls down smooth. You can then prepare over this surface, spot prime over filled areas and decorate as normal...
