Alabaster by Sherwin Williams

anybody have a greige recommendation to compliment Alabaster by Sherwin Williams? I'm looking for somwtin in the 70+/- LRV range that sits between Agreeable Gray and Alabaster.

SWP [like many] has a computer color program where they can take your pic and insert their colors if that will help you any.

Clear finish

I have a maple butcher block style island top that has yellowed over the years. It is not used for food prep. I sanded the finish down to bare wood and I like the appearance of the wood. I used a water based, clear, wipe on poly but it has darkened the wood more than I would like. Is there a protective finish that I can use that won't significantly change the appearance of the wood?Read More

Patching a hole in kitchen ceiling

First let me start by saying that on a DIY skill level from 1 to 10 I'm maybe a 3. So simplest is best. I have a hole about an inch across in my kitchen ceiling (see picture). I know I can't make it look perfect without repainting the whole thing. But what I I do to make it a whole lot less noticeable? Thanks.
