we are repainting the bath in our new home
we peeled the wallpaper all off down to the primer
upon a closer look the previous owners had half removed more wallpaper and decided to prime over it then wallpaper over that.
I want to paint
How will i remove those strips of wallpaper that are primered over on drywall that wasnt primed?
Do I give up and re drywall the whole room???
is there a way to remove it??

have you thought about spackeling the walls to give a uniform texture and then painter over that?

I think I am using the term correctly.

If you try to remove the old primed over wall paper you may end up pulling the paper backing off the sheetrock its self. I dont think you want to have that effect.

if you can "I" would feather the lines, prime and paint.
